Learn about risk factors from the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance

Nov 7 2023 - George Thorogood & the Destroyers show at Lexington Opera House.

BOCS was invited to have a table.  We handed out BOCS stickers, our new brochure, and ovarian cancer risk cards from Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance.  A portion of proceeds from the show also benefit The Marla Thorogood Memorial Fund For Ovarian Cancer Research in conjunction with Vanderbilt University Medical Center, in memory of George’s late wife who passed away in 2019.

Thank you to Mr. Thorogood and the Opera House for the opportunity to spread awareness of ovarian and gynecologic cancer risk factors.
